To successfully complete an online TEFL 170 hour’s certification course, ITA requires that you complete 20 hours of practicum. Which is a live practice teaching and observation for at least 6 hours? Completing the practicum hours during the course allows the student to immediately practice what they are learning in the online class. You can also add 60 days after the course is finished to complete the practicum hours.
