Job Description
COVID-19 & China border updates: Schools across China reopened in June and are now holding interviews for teachers for January to July 2021 start dates. We are in contact with more and more schools that have successfully obtained PU letters (invitation letters) for teachers, needed to apply for a work visa. If you are already in China, your start date could be as soon as within a few weeks. If you are outside of China, taking into account the interview process and visa application process, your earliest start date could be around April 2021. Program Highlights

Main Responsibilities
- 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday) with weekends off
- Able to commit to 2 year contract
- Plan lessons and activities that are age-appropriate and captivating
- Be the primary Counsellor for one age-group of pre-schoolers (20 to 22 per class)
- Lead students for the whole day’s learning and playing with one assistant’s support
- Create a warm, lively and safe environment
- Communicate with parents at scheduled venues (interpreter provided)
- Decorate and maintain classroom according to monthly theme
- Organize school events to promote CKC
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in early childhood development, education or related fields
- TEFL certificate required
- Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, or New Zealand
- 2 years teaching experience required
- Desire and able to love, manage and educate young lives
- Hardworking, high energy, and easy-going with adventurous spirit
- Committed to the contract lengths and terms, and determined to be professional
